JOIN OUR TEAM TODAY! Job Summary We are hiring a Payroll Analyst will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. The responsibilities will include all aspects of the payroll process, from data entry to tax calculations and disbursements. This is a critical role in maintaining our financial health and employee satisfaction. Position: This position is Onsite (Montego Bay) Role Reports into: Manager Payroll ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Process bi- monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines. Maintain employee payroll data, including timekeeping records, salaries, wages, bonuses, and deductions. Calculate and withhold all statutory deductions, including PAYE (Pay As You Earn), NIS (National Insurance Scheme), and NHT (National Housing Trust). Prepare and submit all required tax reports to the Jamaican Tax Authority (TAJ) on a timely basis. Liaise with tax authorities to resolve any discrepancies or inquiries. Reconcile payroll accounts with general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy. Generate and distribute pay slips to employees electronically or in paper format. Manage employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, providing clear and accurate information. Research and stay up to date on changes to Jamaican payroll legislation and regulations. Participate in payroll system maintenance and updates as needed. Assist with year-end payroll processing and audits. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Requirements: Job Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll processing. Proven experience with payroll software. Excellent understanding of Jamaican payroll legislation and regulations, including PAYE, NIS, and NHT. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Standard hours are 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Based on responsibilities, some jobs may require nights and weekends.
